Date-Nut Bread
Date-Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped dates, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 c. white sugar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix dates, boiling water, butter, white sugar and salt and set aside to cool.
Add egg.
Sift together flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Add to cooled mixture.
Add vanilla and nuts; mix well. Put in greased loaf pan dusted with flour.
Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350Β°.
