Date and Nut Cake
Date And Nut Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cream together 1/4 pound butter, 1 cup sugar and vanilla.
Add the eggs; beat well.
Sift together the baking powder, baking soda and flour.
Add to butter mixture; beat together.
Mix in sour cream, dates and nuts.
Lightly grease bottom and sides of tube pan.
Pour 1/2 batter into the pan.
Mix 3 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Sprinkle 1/3 of it on batter.
Add the rest of the batter in the pan.
Sprinkle rest of sugar and cinnamon mix on top.
Pour 3 tablespoons melted butter on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 55 to 60 minutes.
