Mix 1 cup flour and oleo like pie crust with 2 tablespoons water.

Chill.

Roll into two 3 x 12-inch strips.

Boil 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter to rolling boil.

Remove from heat.

Add almond extract, then 1 cup flour, stirring until well mixed.

Add eggs, one at a time.

Put this mixture on top of pastry strips. Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar frosting. Sprinkle with ground or chopped nuts.
