Danish Meatballs
Danish Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. flour and 1 beef bouillon cube, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix the first 3 ingredients together. Roll into 1-inch balls. Roll the meatballs in the flour; brown.
Dissolve the bouillon cube in the boiling water.
Pour over the meatballs.
Simmer gently 1 hour.
Add the bay leaf during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Add water as necessary during simmering to make a delicious gravy.
Remove leaf before serving.
