Dandy Candied Yams
Dandy Candied Yams is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can yams, 1 fresh lemon, 1 fresh orange, 1/4 lb. butter and 1/2 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place butter in saucepan under low flame.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of lemon and 1/4 teaspoon of orange juice.
Add other ingredients and stir well until smooth consistency.
Slice yams and place in baking pan.
Pour mixture over yams and let sit for 3 minutes.
Place yams in preheated oven (350Β°) until bubbling brown on top, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
