Damson Jelly
Damson Jelly is an easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. damsons (very ripe), water, 7 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. margarine and 1 box pectin (sure-jell), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Place damsons in saucepan with 1 1/2 cups water.
Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Run through sieve and add water to make 5 1/2 cups juice.
Place juice in 8-quart pot with margarine and pectin; bring to a full, rolling boil, stirring constantly. Quickly add sugar and bring back to a full, rolling boil.
Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
