Dale's Rolls
Dale'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 1/2 c. milk, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Scald milk and cool to lukewarm.
Add dissolved yeast, milk, sugar, salt and shortening. Add 4 cups flour and beat by hand until it makes a medium-soft dough.
Add remainder of the flour and work into dough.
Let dough rise in a bowl, greased with oil and covered (you can use a wet cloth to cover).
Let rise until the size doubles, then roll out on a floured board.
Cut with cookie cutter, brush with oil and let rise again.
Bake in a greased pan at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
