Daiquiri Pie
Daiquiri Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 serving size) pkg. jello lemon pudding/pie filling, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello lime gelatin, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. water and 2 eggs, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine pudding gelatin and sugar in saucepan. Stir in eggs; blend well.
Add remaining water and cook; stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
Remove from heat; stir in rum.
Chill. Thoroughly
Cool Whip into chilled mixture.
Spoon into pie crust and chill until firm, about two hours.
Garnish with additional Cool Whip and lime slices if desired.
