Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. milk, 6 eggs, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
👨🍳 Instructions
Scald milk and mix the slightly beaten eggs, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla and salt.
Stir the milk gradually into egg mixture.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325° and bake until knife blade comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
Use unbaked pie crust.
