Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 2 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat eggs slightly and gradually add milk, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Combine flour and water and add to mixture.
Transfer to unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, then at 375° for 25 minutes.
Then check and add time, if necessary.
