Custard
Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 egg yolks and 4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in double boiler top.
Mix in egg.
Gradually add milk.
Stir well.
Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Remove from boiling water.
Stir in vanilla.
Makes 1 quart.
