Curried Fruit
Curried Fruit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 29 oz. peach halves, 20 oz. pineapple slices, 1 (14 oz.) jar spiced apple rings, 1/2 c. maraschino cherries and 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Drain all fruit.
Reserve 3/4 cup of the pineapple juice.
In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, cloves and curry.
Cook 7 to 8 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water.
Add to cooked mixture until thickens.
Pour over fruit and bake in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish for 20 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Makes 14 servings.
