Cukes
Cukes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 8 cukes, 2 qt. water, 1/3 c. salt, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 c. white vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut cukes into long thin strips.
Bring water, salt, sugar and vinegar to a boil; cool.
Pack cukes into 2 half gallon or 1 gallon jug.
Pour mixture over cukes and add 1 clove garlic and fresh dill.
Put in refrigerator and don't use for 24 hours.
Always keep refrigerated.
You may use quart jars if you wish.
It will make 2 to 3 quart jars.
