Crunchy Granola
Crunchy Granola is an moderately easy breakfast dish you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with c. quick oats, c. wheat germ, c. 100% bran, c. chopped walnuts and c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Stir oats, wheat germ, bran and walnuts in a large mixing bowl.
In separate bowl, stir together brown sugar, water, oil, vanilla and cinnamon.
Pour over dry ingredients and stir well. Pour into 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
Bake at 300Β° for 45 to 50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Add raisins or other dried fruits (coconut, etc.) after baking.
Cool completely.
Store in airtight containers.
Keeps for weeks.
