Crunchy Freeze
Crunchy Freeze is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 2 1/2 c. rice krispies, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 1/4 c. coconut and 1 c. broken pecans or walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt margarine in oven at 300Β° about 10 minutes.
Add Rice Krispies, sugar, coconut and nuts.
Mix well.
Return to oven for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly brown. Cool.
Put half of mixture in cake pan; layer ice cream over mixture.
Add remaining mixture for topping.
Freeze.
Cut into squares and serve.
Delicious with maple syrup drizzled over top. A good make-ahead recipe.
