Crunch Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 1/2 tbsp. cream of tartar, 1/2 tbsp. vanilla, 20 soda crackers, crushed, but not too fine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Beat egg whites until fluffy.
Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
Beat in vanilla.
Fold in cracker crumbs that have been mixed with sugar and nuts.
Put in greased 9-inch pan, round or square.
Bake 30 minutes at 375Β°.
Serve with fresh berries, peaches, ice cream, or whipped cream.
