Crumb Cake
Crumb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted cake flour, 2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 egg, beaten and 1/2 c. sifted cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Rub flour, sugar and shortening (first 3) together until crumbly.
Reserve 1/2 cup of crumbs to sprinkle over top of cake. To rest, add last 5 ingredients.
Mix thoroughly.
Spread in greased cake pan, sprinkle crumbs over the top and bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
