Crock-Pot Apple Butter
Crock-Pot Apple Butter is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 20 peeled apples, 2 tsp. ground allspice, 5 tsp. cinnamon, 4 1/2 c. sugar and 2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook apples and water for 15 minutes; mash.
Pour in crock-pot (low heat).
Stir in all ingredients.
Cover; cook 12 hours.
Stir well.
Turn heat on high until extra juices evaporates, about 45 minutes.
Leave lid off while cooking down.
Pour into sterile jars and seal.
Makes 7 or 8 pints.
