Crisp Oatmeal Cookies
Crisp Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 egg and 1/2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In saucepan mix brown sugar, shortening and butter.
Cook and stir over low heat until butter and shortening melt.
Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop from teaspoon 3 inches apart on well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven at 375Β° about 7 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pan.
Makes 4 dozen.
