Crescent Rolls
Crescent Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. crisco, 1 c. boiling water or scalded milk, 2 large eggs, beaten, 3/4 c. sugar (add 1/4 c. if you like sweeter rolls) and 2 cakes or 2 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Use a large bowl to mix it in.
Combine shortening and boiling water or milk.
Stir until melted.
In another bowl, beat eggs, sugar and salt.
Stir, then add cold water.
Put both packages of yeast in lukewarm water and dissolve.
Combine all 3 mixtures in the large bowl.
Stir well.
Add flour.
Will be a little wet. Cover tight and chill overnight.
Shape, let rise and bake at 350Β° for 10 to 20 minutes.
