Crescent Rolls
Crescent Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 1/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1 c. plus 1 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of the water, milk and 1/4 cup of the butter until warm (120° to 130°).
Add to flour mixture with 1 of the eggs.
Beat 3 minutes at medium speed and set aside.
In a large bowl, cut remaining 1 cup butter into remaining 4 cups flour until particles are the size of large peas. Pour the yeast mixture over the flour-butter mixture.
Stir until moist.
Cover and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours.
