Crescent Casserole
Crescent Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1 can mushroom soup, 1 c. dry bread crumbs, 1 tbsp. mustard and 3 lb. lean ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine all ingredients except dough and press mixture into a loaf pan.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
Drain off fat and invert meat loaf onto a cookie sheet.
Separate roll of dough into 4 rectangles.
Overlap slightly on a pastry cloth or floured board to form a large rectangle.
Roll out to 10 x 5 inches.
Drape over meat.
Trim excess.
Bake in 325° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
