Creole Peas
Creole Peas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 2 tbsp. butter and 8 oz. can tomatoes, cut up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook peas and drain.
In saucepan, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender, but not brown.
Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid.
Add tomatoes to cooked onion.
Stir in peas, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
Blend tomato liquid into cornstarch. Stir into pea mixture.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
