Fry hamburger in patties as for regular hamburgers and drain. Combine cans of soup (add 3/4 can of water to each can of soup), onions, celery and green pepper.

Cook until onions, celery and green peppers are tender.

Crumble patties and add to soup mixture. Simmer on low until the mixture becomes thick.

Add salt and pepper.

Serve on slightly toasted open hamburger buns.
