Crème Brule
Crème Brule is an easy dinner. Made with 4 large egg yolks, 3 t. sugar, 2 c. heavy whipping cream and 1/3 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat egg yolks with an electric mixer on high for 5 minutes. Gradually beat in white sugar.
Warm whipping cream in a saucepan on low heat until very warm.
Gradually add in beaten egg mixture, stirring constantly, and cook for about 5 minutes until thick.
DO NOT BOIL!
Pour into an ungreased pie plate; cover and chill for 2 hours.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and broil for 5 minutes.
Serve over fresh fruit slices and angel food cake or pound cake.
