Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Creamy Mashed Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. potatoes, pared, 2 tsp. salt, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese with chives, cubed, 4 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook potatoes with 1 teaspoon salt in boiling water until tender.
Drain.
Mash potatoes until smooth; add cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt.
Mix until smooth.
Gradually add cream; mix well after each addition. Put in greased baking dish.
(Bake at once or cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.)
Dot top of potatoes with 2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake in 325° oven 30 minutes. Increase heat to 375° and bake 30 minutes more.
