Mix together cake batter and butter; set aside 2/3 cup and press the rest into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Slice apples and press over crumbs in pan.
Mix egg and sour cream; spread over apple layer.
Mix remaining crumbs, brown sugar and cinnamon; spread over cream layer.
Bake 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Cut into squares to serve.
