Put cucumbers and onions in sealable bowl.
Add 1/4 cup mayonnaise and 1/4 cup sour cream to cucumbers and onions along with vinegar.
Mix well.
Mixture should be thin, for moisture from cucumbers will add additional liquid.
Depending on tartness desired, quantities of mayonnaise, sour cream and vinegar may be varied.
