Creamed Corn
Creamed Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium ears fresh corn, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 c. water, 1 tsp. sugar and 1/2 c. half and half, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cut corn off cob.
Place butter in 2-quart casserole and microwave at High for 1 minute or until melted.
Stir in corn, water and sugar.
Cover with heavy-duty wrap.
Microwave at High 3 minutes.
Stir well and give dish half turn.
Cover and microwave at High, 5 to 7 minutes or until corn is done.
Combine remaining ingredients and beat with wire whisk until cornstarch is dissolved. Add to corn and mix well.
