Creamed Chicken
Creamed Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 frying chicken or chicken parts, water, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. butter and 1/3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Wash chicken.
Place in large saucepan.
Cover with water. Add salt.
Bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour.
Remove chicken; cool and take meat from bones.
Cut into chunks.
Save broth. Melt butter in 3-quart pan.
Add flour and mix.
Add broth; cook until thick.
Add soup and stir until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper, if needed.
Serve over cooked rice or chow mein noodles.
