Cream Sticks
Cream Sticks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. lukewarm water, 2/3 c. white sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Put yeast in warm water; scald milk, then add your oleo in hot milk to melt.
Put together when cool, then add yeast, well beaten eggs, vanilla and sugar.
Add flour.
Put in warm place until double in bulk.
Roll out and cut in pieces, about 1/2 x 3 1/2-inches long.
Let rise again.
Fry in deep vegetable oil. Cut top of stick open and fill with filling.
Ice with brown sugar frosting.
