Cream Puffs
Cream Puffs is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. flour, 4 eggs and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 425°.
Add butter to water and return to a boil.
Add flour; cook 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; break eggs, one at a time into mixture, beating well after each egg.
Before adding fourth egg, add baking powder.
Drop dough from a tablespoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 425° for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 300° and bake 20 minutes longer.
This will make 6 large puffs or about 10 small ones.
May be served with any filling desired, packaged pudding mix is fine.
