Cream Cheese Eggs
Cream Cheese Eggs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 2 tbsp. cream or milk, 4 c. powdered sugar, 4 (4 oz.) pkg. unsweetened chocolate, melted and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Beat cream cheese and cream until smooth.
Gradually beat in sugar, then blend in chocolate.
Stir in vanilla, rum, salt and 1 cup nuts.
Press into lightly greased 8-inch square pan and cover top with remaining nuts.
Mark in 64 pieces (about 1-inch squares) and chill for several hours or overnight.
Makes 1 pound.
