Mix margarine, syrup, sugar and salt in large saucepan over low heat until melted.
Bring to boil.
Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and soda; mix well and pour mixture over popcorn.
Bake at 250Β° for 3/4 to 1 hour, stirring every fifteen minutes.
