Prepare yellow cake mix as it is on the box.
Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan.
Put cake mixture in pan but do not bake.
Mix sugar, eggs, Ricotta and vanilla.
Spread mixture on top of cake mixture.
Bake 1 hour in 350Β° oven.
