Sift flour, sugar, soda, cocoa and salt into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Make 3 holes in dry ingredients.
Pour vanilla into 1 hole, vinegar into another and divide the oil into all 3 holes. Pour cold water over entire mixture.
Blend thoroughly with a fork.
Do not beat.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
