Crawfish Quiche
Crawfish Quiche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cleaned crawfish tails, 1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms, 1 c. chopped green onions and tops, 1/2 c. melted butter and 4 eggs, well beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Saute mushrooms and green onions in butter until tender.
Set aside.
In large bowl, combine eggs, half and half, salt, dry mustard and cheese.
Fold in crawfish, mushrooms and onions.
Pour mixture into shell.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300° and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 6.
