Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.

Add grated rind, nuts, dates, cranberries and 1 cup sugar.

Mix well.

Blend eggs, buttermilk and oil together and add to first mixture and mix well.

Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350Β°. Cool in pan.

Mix together orange juice and 1 cup sugar and pour over cake in pan.

Cover pan with foil and let stand in refrigerator overnight.

Remove from pan and serve.
