Cranberry Cake
Cranberry Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Blend shortening and eggs.
Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Mix and add sour cream; mix separately the nuts, cinnamon and sugar.
Mix cranberry sauce up a bit.
Use a tube or Bundt pan.
Put 1/2 of batter in greased pan; put in 1/2 of the nut mix and 1/2 of cranberry sauce.
Put in remaining ingredients, nut mix and spread cranberry sauce on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
