Cranberry Bread
Cranberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cranberries, 1 c. sugar, 3 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease bread loaf pan.
In mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and melted butter.
Grate the orange rind and add to sugar mixture.
Squeeze juice from orange into a measuring cup.
Add enough water to make 1 1/4 cups liquid.
Add liquid to sugar mixture.
Add cranberries and nuts until blended.
Pour into bread loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° about 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
