Cranberry Bars
Cranberry Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats, 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1 tsp. finely shredded orange peel and 1/4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a large mixing bowl stir together the flour, oats, brown sugar, orange peel and baking soda.
Stir in the melted butter and mix thoroughly.
Reserve one cup of the flour mixture for the topping.
Pat the remaining mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 8 x 12-inch rectangular pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Carefully spread the cranberry sauce over the baked crust.
Stir the chopped nuts into the reserved topping mixture. Sprinkle it on top of the cranberry sauce.
Lightly pat it into the sauce.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes more.
Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Cut into bars.
