Cran-Apple Crisp
Cran-Apple Crisp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. apple slices, 1 -10 oz. can whole cranberry sauce, 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind, 1 c. quick oats (oatmeal) and 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Peel, core, and slice apples, then combine with cranberry sauce and orange rind; set aside.
Mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; cut in margarine or butter until crumbly mixture forms.
Press a third of the mixture over bottom of greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
Spread with fruit, then top with remaining oat mixture.
Bake 45 minutes or until brown.
Serve warm with ice cream.
Makes 9 servings.
