Cracker Jacks
Cracker Jacks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. cornstarch, 1/4 c. molasses and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix first 5 ingredients thoroughly until mixture boils, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add baking soda and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour over about 6 quarts of popped popcorn. Add peanuts to taste.
Put in a large roasting pan and bake 1 hour at 250Β°, stirring every 15 minutes.
