Crab Smitty
Crab Smitty is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. maryland backfin crabmeat, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Remove cartilage from crabmeat.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add crabmeat, lemon juice, salt, pepper, onion juice, liquid hot pepper sauce and thyme.
Saute briefly until crabmeat is just heated through.
Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until edges of ham curl and flavors are well-blended.
May be served on toast.
