Crab Imperial
Crab Imperial is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. backfin crabmeat, 1 tbsp. pimento, chopped, 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs, 1/8 tsp. pepper and pinch of dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Toss lightly crabmeat, green peppers, pimento, egg and bread crumbs.
Combine mayonnaise, salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce to make a mayonnaise mixture. Toss mayonnaise mixture lightly with crabmeat mixture.
Mound in 4 or 5 individual shells or place in a small casserole.
Mix mayonnaise with a small amount of milk and spread over the crab. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
