Covered Walnuts is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. walnuts, 2 egg whites, 1/2 c. sugar or honey, dash of salt and 1/2 c. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
👨🍳 Instructions
Bake walnuts on cookie sheet 15 minutes at 350°.
While baking, beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold whites into sugar and salt.
Add walnuts.
Melt 1/2 cup butter in shallow baking pan. Pour in mixture and bake 30 minutes at 325°.
Stir every 10 minutes.
