Country Granola
Country Granola is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats, 2 c. flaked coconut, 2 c. chopped nuts (if desired), 1/2 c. margarine or butter and 1/2 c. brown sugar (light brown), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine oats, coconut and nuts in large pan (11 x 15).
Bake 20 minutes at 300°, stirring occasionally.
Melt butter in medium-size saucepan.
Add brown sugar and honey.
Remove from heat; add vanilla.
Add wheat germ to oats.
Drizzle with butter mixture.
Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.
Press mixture into pan.
Bake additional 5 to 7 minutes.
Store in airtight container.
