Country Franks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot dogs, cut diagonally into 1/4-inch slices, 1 tbsp. oil, 2 large onions, sliced thin, 2 large green peppers, sliced to bite size and 1/2 tsp. oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, cook hot dogs until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
Remove hot dogs; set aside.
In same skillet over medium heat, cook peppers and onions in the oil; add seasonings.
Cook until tender, stirring often. Add hot dogs.
Toss gently.
Heat thoroughly.
Makes 4 servings.
