Country Corn Bread
Country Corn Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. meal, 1 egg, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 500Β°.
Melt 1/3 cup bacon in an 8-inch iron skillet until the grease is melted and skillet is hot.
Stir until all dry ingredients are blended.
Add 1 egg and 3/4 cup sweet milk.
Stir until well blended.
Add melted grease, leaving about 1/8-inch of grease in skillet.
Pour in mixture and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes until brown.
