Cottage Cheese Sticks
Cottage Cheese Sticks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sifted flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. cottage cheese with pineapple, 1 tbsp. milk and paprika, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in butter, using a pastry blender.
Add milk to cottage cheese and stir into flour mixture. Round up dough on floured board; roll to 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut into 1/2 inch strips; cut each 3 inches long.
Place strips on a greased baking sheet, either twisted or laid flat and pricked with a fork.
Sprinkle with paprika and celery seed.
Refrigerate until serving.
Bake at 425Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to cooling racks, serve warm.
Makes 30 sticks.
